ISPDCo. Industrial is an active distributor of electrical, communications, data networking and security products to a variety of industries.

Assisted by our ongoing associations with many manufacturers, such as GE, Cooper Crouse Hinds, Schneider Electric, Allen Bradley, Cooper Bussman, General Cable, Thomas and Betts, Cutler Hammer and many more, ISPDCo. Industrial helps its customers’ to power, network and secure their facilities with speed, intelligence and efficiency.

We have engineering professionals on hand to offer energy management solutions that reduce cost, boost efficiency and enhance productivity. We can help you build an energy management strategy and provide the products and services to turn a traditionally reactive expense into a proactive solution for enhancing business value.

Our location knowledge is put to the test daily when specifying products for different locations around the globe, when power ratings must be taken into consideration.

ISPDCo. Industrial’s success is driven by the success of our customers and the manufacturers we work with. Our goal is simple. We listen to what you need, we connect you to the right solution and then we deliver on our word. It’s how ISPDCo. works to your advantage.

ISPDCo.  Industrial only supply quality engineered products which assist in preventing unscheduled shut downs, allowing greater productivity at our client’s facilities.

Circuit Breakers

A circuit breaker is an automatically operated electrical switch designed to protect an electrical circuit from damage caused by overload or short circuit. Its basic function is to detect a fault condition and, by interrupting continuity, to immediately discontinue electrical flow. Unlike a fuse, which operates once and then must be replaced, a circuit breaker can be reset (either manually or automatically) to resume normal operation. Grayford Industrial works with a number of manufacturers and in particular enjoys a close relationship with Square D USA.

Magnetic Starters

A magnetic starter is an electromagnetically-operated switch which provides a safe method for starting an electric motor with a large load. Magnetic starters also provide under-voltage and overload protection, and an automatic cut-off in the event of a power failure. Schneider Electric is one manufacturer we work closely with on a continuous basis, and they provide many of the magnetic starters we currently supply.

Lighting (Explosion Proof)

Grayford Industrial provides a whole range of explosion-proof lighting as it is widely used in industry sectors who must take a gaseous environment into consideration. Manufacturers such as GE, Appleton and Acuity Brands are popular ranges that we supply on a regular basis.

Cabling (& Glands)

A cable is usually two or more wires running side by side and bonded, twisted, or braided together to form a single assembly. A wide range of different cables are supplied by Grayford Industrial for use in all industry sectors.

Panel Boards

Panel boards are a component of an electricity supply system which divide an electrical power feed into subsidiary circuits, while also providing a protective fuse or circuit breaker for each circuit in a common enclosure. Normally a main switch, and in more recent boards, one or more Residual-current devices (RCD) or Residual Current Breakers with Overcurrent protection (RCBO) will also be incorporated.

Transformers

A transformer is a static electrical device that transfers energy by inductive coupling between its winding circuits. A varying current in the primary winding creates a varying magnetic flux in the transformer’s core, and thus a varying magnetic flux through the secondary winding. This varying magnetic flux induces a varying electromotive force (EMF), or “voltage”, in the secondary winding.

Generating Sets

Electric generators are devices that convert mechanical energy to electrical energy. A generator forces electrical current to flow through an external circuit. The source of the mechanical energy may be a reciprocating or turbine steam engine, water falling through a turbine or waterwheel, an internal combustion engine, wind turbine, hand crank, compressed air, or many other possible sources. Generators provide nearly all of the power for electric power grids. Members of our team carry considerable experience in supplying electric generators and can assist in many specification aspects.

Contactors

A contactor is an electrically-controlled switch used for switching a power circuit, similar to a relay but with higher current ratings. A contactor is controlled by a circuit which has a much lower power level than the switched circuit. Cutler Hammer and Schneider Electric are two of our long term suppliers and we enjoy discounted pricing on their products.

Enclosures

Grayford Industrial supply many brands of enclosure for the mounting of circuit breakers, switches and other overload protection equipment. Over the years, Grayford Industrial has supplied numerous Hoffman enclosures to various clients around the globe.

Relays

A relay is an electrically operated switch. Many relays use an electromagnet to operate a switching mechanism mechanically, but other operating principles are also used. Relays are used where it is necessary to control a circuit by a low-power signal (with complete electrical isolation between control and controlled circuits), or where several circuits must be controlled by one signal.

Switches

In electrical engineering, a switch is an electrical component that can break an electrical circuit, interrupting the current or diverting it from one conductor to another. Widely used in pump and compressor configurations, Grayford Industrial has supplied many types of electrical switches to a variety of clients, with global manufacturers such as GE, Cutler Hammer and Schneider Electric being some of the manufactures we currently choose to work with.

Conduit Fittings

A small but extremely important element to electrical project supply, conduit fittings may cost little but are extremely important. Grayford Industrial only provide the very best quality conduit fittings as our aim is to provide reliable electrical installations. Using inferior products will cost more in the long run even with initial cost saving benefits, and are not conducive to the smooth operation of our client’s facilities as they cause shutdowns and unscheduled repairs.
